What snake is this?

Can this snake be identified?

A recent visit by a trained and licensed reptile handler found this great looking python (hint, hint) down the road.

They spent four days in the vicinity of the park searching for various reptiles and were keen to photograph a Death Adder and King Brown, however much to their dismay they never came across one … nice for the rest of us at the caravan park to know!

Snake Fact – When on the move snakes constantly flick out a long, slender forked tongue. In Australia, only the obviously limbed goannas or bungarras have a similar shaped tongue. They constantly flick their tongue to taste the air.
