Ningaloo Lighthouse Project

The Project

The Ningaloo Lighthouse Project, nestled at the foot of Vlamingh Head aims to deliver an exciting revitalisation of the project site. With direct access to the Ningaloo Marine Park and Cape Range National Park, the project will be thoughtfully designed to blend in with the unique landscape and character of the Vlamingh Head precinct.

We are pleased to share that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has recommended conditional approval for the project in early April and currently, the project is undergoing the appeal process.

We are focused on delivering a unique and environmentally sensitive tourism offering at Vlamingh Head and we remain committed to working with the community to achieve that vision.

The Environment & Community

As a key priority for the project, the design will consider the environmental impact on significant flora and fauna. We are investigating sustainable initiatives such as on-site wastewater recycling and solar power generation to significantly reduce the projects environmental footprint.

We work closely with the Exmouth community and understand community engagement is essential for a successful project. Recognising the significance of the project site, we actively seek opportunities to engage with Traditional Owners throughout the planning and development process.

Economic Benefits

The project will generate employment opportunities for the Exmouth community and we will prioritise the use of local businesses whenever possible, ensuring that the project contributes to sustained economic growth in Exmouth. The development will enhance Ningaloo tourism and attract both domestic and international visitors, benefiting the wider region.
